Why gK + Tarot?
We're not using tarot to tell you the future. We're using it to give you a smarter mirror.
At getKANNA, we're all about embodied living. That means showing up present, aware, and connected—to yourself, to others, to the moment. And here's what we've noticed: sometimes the hardest part isn't knowing what to do. It's knowing what you're actually feeling, what patterns you're stuck in, what you're not seeing about yourself.
That's where tarot comes in. Not as fortune-telling or prediction—but as a structured way to reflect. The cards act like a mirror, reflecting back what's already there. When you draw a card, your brain automatically projects your own experiences, emotions, and patterns onto the imagery. This process—studied in psychology for decades—helps you access insights that might be harder to reach through direct questioning.
Think of it this way: kanna helps you feel more present in your body. Tarot helps you feel more present with yourself. Both are tools for embodied living—one works from the inside out, the other from the outside in.
The gK Mirror is our way of bringing these two together: monthly reflections that help you see yourself more clearly, paired with practices that help you show up more fully. It's not about predicting your future. It's about reflecting your present—with a little more meaning and a little less seriousness.
Field-guide energy. A little mystical, but mostly practical. A reminder to pay attention.
